Amy is the founder, host, and executive producer of Threshold, an award-winning documentary podcast about our place as humans in the natural world. In addition to creating Threshold, Amy has produced stories for NPR's All Things Considered and other national outlets. In 2016, she was selected for the Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder. Amy has been invited to give presentations about her work at the Environmental Film Festival in Washington DC, the International Wildlife Film Festival, the Arctic Frontiers conference in Norway, and on the TEDx stage.

Chase and I are two humans from vastly different backgrounds, who hold some strongly opposed beliefs, but who have found a way to love and value the friendship of the other through a foundation of mutual respect, curiosity, and a desire to understand.

Chase is someone I deeply admire for his sincerity, his courage, his kindness, and his convictions formed through real thought and study of life. We strongly believe our world is in need of more friendships and conversations that bridge divides, and that unite people with fundamentally divergent views and beliefs. It is our hope that this conversation can serve as one model of that kind of friendship.
