In the second installment of Connecting with Communities, we continue our conversation with two of Methodist Healthcare Ministries’ Community Council members from the Rio Grande Valley. They share how their lived experiences have helped them build deeper connections with others and inspire meaningful change that has positively transformed their communities.
Community Council members serve as a bridge between the communities MHM serves and its Board of Directors. Their lived experience provides unique perspectives and insights that are shared with the Board, influencing how decisions are made and carried out. Their stories offer a firsthand look at how community insight can lead to collaboration and powerful partnerships.
