Okay, we're doing it. We're going back and watching all those cheesy romantic comedies we used to be obsessed with. You know the ones, where someone's always running through an airport and the rain somehow makes everything more dramatic.
Honestly? Some of these movies are kind of problematic when you watch them now. But also, they're still weirdly comforting? We're trying to figure out if we love them ironically or if we're just basic. Probably both. So we grabbed some wine, queued up the classics, and had way too many feelings about Hugh Grant movies. From "You've Got Mail" (yes, we cried) to "When Harry Met Sally" (that deli scene hits different as adults), we're talking about what still works and what... really doesn't.
