  • If You Don’t Use It, You Lose It

    Let’s talk about a painful truth in fitness:
    If you don’t use it… you will lose it.

    I recently took about two months off of running, and guess what? My numbers dropped hard. It was like I had rewound the clock by six months.

    Now—did I lose everything? No.
    But I lost a lot, and it reminded me that consistency isn’t optional. It’s the price we pay to keep what we’ve earned.

    Fitness doesn’t give participation trophies.
    You stop showing up, your body starts subtracting.

    The good news? You can rebuild.
    But every time we restart, it’s a little tougher.

    So even if your workout is short, even if it’s just 10 minutes—do something today.
    Protect the progress you’ve made.

    Because in fitness, the rent is due every damn day.

  • “Trump’s New Food Guidelines: More Protein, No Sugar, and Real Food First”

    In this episode, we break down the new food and nutrition guidelines released by the Trump administration — and how they differ from the previous recommendations.

    Key highlights include:

    • A major push to prioritize protein (including eggs, seafood, poultry, red meat, and plant-based sources)
    • A tougher stance on added sugars — now recommending none, especially for kids
    • A shift away from low-fat messaging in favor of full-fat dairy and animal fats
    • Strong emphasis on real, whole foods over highly processed and packaged foods
    • Recommendations to reduce refined carbohydrates and prioritize fiber-rich grains
    • Lower-carb eating patterns acknowledged for chronic disease prevention

    Compared to the 2020–2025 guidelines, this is a clear move toward simplifying nutrition around real food principles, reducing processed junk, and increasing protein consumption for long-term health.
