Staying does not always look brave.
    Sometimes it looks quiet.

It is the moment you do not disappear.
The moment you keep your breath with you.
    The moment you remain
    even when something feels uncomfortable.

Staying is a form of trust
    the body learns slowly.

There is a difference between falling apart and loosening. The body knows this difference. So does the land.

Leaves loosen before they fall. Ice loosens before it breaks. Muscles loosen before they can rest.

What we call collapse is often the moment holding becomes unnecessary.

This is a short spoken prose, offered as a gentle pause. It explores slowing down, listening inward, and the subtle moments that often pass unnoticed. Rather than asking anything of you, it simply creates space to rest with what is already present. I hope it meets you quietly, wherever you are.
