      A Patient's Amazing Adventure!

For today's final adventure for Season One, we travel to the Continent of Europe and then to the Continent of North America to meet an "extraordinary person," fellow prostate cancer patient and now survivor Alex Lamb.

      Alex Lamb, Prostate Cancer Survivor

      Alex Lamb's Adventure

After the death of his wife, Alex Lamb chose to leave the United Kingdom and emigrate to the United States to live with one of his sons. As per protocol, a series of tests were ordered by his doctor to comply with the rules of emigrating to his new country. In 2018, his PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) scores spiked from 2.5 up to 9.5. His Urologist confirmed his cancer diagnosis in May of 2018 at the age of 79 years old. After thirty-six straight weekdays of treatments, Alex credits his survival to the luck of emigrating to the USA, his Urologist, and to Boston Scientific for developing the SpaceOAR Hydrogel procedure.
