  • Nurture Pod 53: Dream of the Blue Whale
    Feb 9 2026

Aloha from Maui! After a wild January and potentially even wilder February Iris and Ginger reconnect across the mighty Pacific ocean.

The humpback whales have gathered around the island of Maui to give birth and mate in the warm tropical waters. They also spend many hours hanging suspended in the ocean sending frequencies to the depths of the ocean, filling the water with their songs.

In this final shed of the wood snake year and on the threshold of the year of the fire horse new moon, a solar eclipse and historic Neptune and Saturn conjunction at 0 degrees of Aries all in one week! Hold onto your hats. Big transformations are underway.

What can whale magic teach us for these times? Listen as we dive in.

  • Nurture Pod 51: Winter Solstice Spelunking
    Dec 20 2025

Welcome to the New Moon in Sagittarius and Solstice tide.

As the solar year wanes in the Northern Hemisphere the invitation is to dissolve. To unburden ourselves of the many weights modern culture has tied to us.

In northern Belize, Ginger swims into the cave of the underworld filled with the skeletons of human sacrifices and in Astoria, Iris creates a Grotto to the Root Mother.

There are no answers to your questions in this episode but hopefully it will inspire you to question your answers.

A star filled Solstice blessing to everyone!

    Dec 5 2025

We have made it all the way to episode 50! A huge thank you for listening and supporting the Nurture pod.

This is a milestone moment of the podcast and marks one and a half years of production since we began recording on Spring Equinox 2024.

In this episode Ginger and Iris use the luminous full moon in Gemini to weave a conversation with the four elements air, fire, water and earth (honoring the theme of that first podcast).

As 2025 draws to a close we invite you to "play along" at home as we call in the energy of 50- of full moon- and of the beautiful nurture future our hearts know is possible.

  • Nurture Pod 48: New Moon in Scorpio, Standing on the Threshold
    Nov 20 2025

Welcome back to the Nurture Pod and to a powerful New Moon in Scorpio.

In this episode Iris and Ginger talk about the various thresholds, portals, spirals, crossroads, labyrinths and other liminal spaces that we find ourselves in.

How do we navigate spaces that are neither here nor there? Those in between times where the old has fallen apart but the new path has not yet appeared.

This time between Hallowmas and Winter Solstice (ruled by the astrological sign of death and rebirth- Scorpio) is the darkest time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

It's the perfect time to dive into the the deep waters of mystery and contemplate the cauldron of change.

  • Nurture Pod 47: Time after Time after Time
    Nov 9 2025

Welcome back to another timely episode of the Nurture Pod!

In wild times like the ones we are living through collectively, Iris and Ginger dive into the concept of time itself. Who decides how we count our hours, what they mean, what they are for and why the clock and productivity seem to run the show even when there is nothing "to produce" or immediate goal in sight.

Have we all unwittingly bought into the idea of a ticking count down that dominates our days whether we realize it or not?

Is it possible to lose time? And how does getting older figure into all this?

This episode may be the best 90 minutes you could exchange in regards to rethinking how you live with time!

  • Nurture Pod 46: Ancestral Frequencies
    Oct 30 2025

Welcome to the Hallomas/Dia Los Muertos edition of the Nurture Pod.

The veil is thin this week as we reach what many consider the final harvest of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the move from spring to summer in the Southern Hemisphere.

This major turning point in the seasonal wheel is an ending and beginning point- a time to honor where you have been and call for blessings and intentions on the next 6 moons ahead.

Ginger, fresh out of a week of plant medicine and sound ceremonies in Peru is preparing to head north to Guatemala this week and Iris is in full harvest of her intention to expand her world of art in many childrens classrooms, Astoria galleries and through the north Oregon coast.

This conversation has a special energetic "frequency" and after we stopped recording we kept on talking for another 30-40 minutes on it. So tune in next episode because we will no doubt revisit and expand on this theme!
