The gospel changes everything. Everything! Including your personality, emotional and spiritual identity. Proverbs is a book of wisdom that speaks in metaphors pointing to the new life that only Jesus can bring. What continually breaks my heart and I am sure the heart of God, is when believers continue to live in shame, while they believe in Jesus, but fail to walk in the newness of life that He has bought with His precious blood, a life free of guilt and shame.

This is in part because we have reduced the gospel to something that is elementary and not eternal, working in us even in this very moment.

Oh come with me past the altars, songs and religion and lets get to Jesus! He is promising you new life!

Cultures and societies use a common emotion to control and to keep order, this emotion has hung around in every society and culture no matter how much we try and shake it off, we're talking about Shame!

What is it, why do we feel it, and how does the gospel change it? We're camping on one verse in Proverbs 27 to unpack this painful, and awkward topic, but it is worth it if that means you can be free from shame. Get ready to break the stronghold that shame has had over you in Jesus name!

Culture is contagious! America is more than a nation, it is a movement that began generations ago of people who disrupted the norm and created a culture that fostered freedom and individual rights. And whenever there is something good you can expect the enemy to be there to corrupt it. Relationships are a beautiful thing to enjoy, but culture can corrode what real relationships are supposed to be. In this message, you are going to see in plain sight how the enemy has distorted what is good and holy and used a culture to pull us away from The Kingdom. Proverbs 27 is where we are going to be. Get ready for your mind an heart to be blessed, and for you to become more like Jesus and less like the present culture.

The greatest enemy is not the most obvious one, but the one who we are most unaware of who can infiltrate and begin to manipulate your mind and in turn begin to control your life. In the USA alone studies show that mental illness is greater than physical ailments, this shows us that the enemy is really after your mind. What you really desire is victory over these invaders, and praise God we have victory in Jesus, and today I want to show you what it looks like to receive this victory and to walk in it. Are you ready to keep the enemy out of your life? I'm coming right to you with The Word of God get ready!

What a strange question to ask! We have a God given hunger for connection, but if we do not walk in the Wisdom of God that is given to us through The Holy Spirit, we will begin to make friends with fools. These fools are not limited to the streets but you 'll find them everywhere, yes, including the church and even behind the pulpit. If you are in doubt, take a look at our world, you don't have to look very far to find the blind leading the blind, and the aim is to help you understand the question, and the urgency in it - Are you in love with a fool?

Have you said YES to Jesus? If you have, have you learned to say NO to self?

Has the gospel call become a prayer but not an altar call that alters your life?

In today's message I want to walk you through the transitions points of warfare where the enemy keeps you content in your yes, but is distracting you in the NO that you are supposed to be saying. Think on this as you get ready for the Word, God in His Sovereignty will save you, your responsibility is to work on your Sanctification through the power of The Holy Spirit. You might have said YES, now get ready to say NO to self destruction.

Consistency is so important for growth, direction and success, this principle applies even to The Kingdom. One way God builds you is by consistently refining you. He loves you too much to leave you the way you are and you are too precious to not have purpose. If you have felt like the spirit is willing by your emotions get in the way and you lack the willpower to grow, what you need is Wisdom's Refining. That is exactly what we have before us in Proverbs 25:1-14. Stay right here, the refiners fire is going to burn away all the dross and get you ready to do His will.

The world aims to get to success quick and will take as many easy ways around learning and discipline, but for a believer there is The Word of God that shows us that there is an order for everything. While the nation is celebrating it's shortcuts to self proclaimed success, the believer has to pay attention to the foundation he is building and standing on realizing that we are NOT of this world and our Kingdom is one of Heaven. My dear brother and sister what are you building, celebrating, praising or grieving? In this message the bible shows us that there is a call to a nation in decline to examine it's foundations and to protect it, project it and prioritize it. What our nation needs is what you are called to, are you ready to respond?
