This episode, we discuss how social media can be super effective when trying to your your diary with more gigs, even if you don’t have much of a following.
We also touch upon the crazy variety that we have as freelancing creatives, from Nuneaton to Madrid and New York to Coventry, it definitely keeps things interesting.
One of the main takeaways from our chat today is that you don’t have to have everything polished and perfect to put it out there. Sharing our less-than-perfect practice sessions and very much ‘live’ performances has helped us to embrace the imperfections and be more open with sharing my progress rather than waiting for a perfection that we’ll never achieve.
Lastly, we discuss some of the difficulties of managing finances when sometimes you wait a long time to be paid, or have unexpected bills pile up out of the blue.
