She earned a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s and PhD in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Carole has led statewide and national educational nonprofit organizations, taught undergraduate students, and worked with high school counselors and college admissions directors over the past twenty years. Carole is passionate about the need to increase college access.

He is also a Vice President at Ascendium Education, a nonprofit organization making education and training beyond high school a reality for more people. Benjamin’s focus includes compliance, bankruptcy, incident response, and risk management, and he is a frequent trainer and presenter on student loans. Benjamin received his law degree from the University of Minnesota, where he studied nonprofit, corporate, and consumer law, and took on student loans of his own.
