    Perimenopause is a period of increased risk of heart disease, but also potentially the healing of our metaphorical heart.

    Dena schools us on perimenopause, estrogen loss, and heart disease. Her agenda is for all women to get screened with a health care provider they trust. The ladies share a few of their approaches to manage seemingly out-of-the-blue blood cholesterol problems.

    Theresa shares a memory of her ugly cynical side which led her to steal someone else’s Valentine’s Day joy.

    that once were baggy, we push ourselves out of comfort zones and into meaningful soul

    projects, back bends, and handstands. Dena gives her professional overview and comments

    on the new 2026 Dietary Guidelines including fiber, protein, fats, ultra-processed foods, and

    alcohol which leads us to glance at the art of behavior change. Dena inquires about the

    current popularity of pilates; Theresa shares her experience and perspectives on movement,

    and how she crafts her guidance of clients using pilates and other modalities. We finish with

    challenges for our listeners that range from eating veggies, using words as nourishment (or

    not!), swearing superpowers (or not!), and rules versus trust and honoring our bodies when it

    comes to eating.
