This episode of the KTBS-TV political podcast, “The App – Arklatex People and Politics,” features a pair of Louisiana political consultants: Andrew Bautsch and Mitch Rabalais. Their agency, Devise Strategy Group, specializes in political strategy and consulting, fundraising, and advertising.
Together, the pair helps shape a look at politics behind the scenes—what makes a good candidate, the criteria all candidates should possess, and how to get their message across effectively.
They also discuss the changing roles of media in political campaigns—digital vs. traditional television—and how each fits into successful campaigns.
Both Bautsch and Rabalais have extensive experience on Capitol Hill, having worked for Louisiana Congresswoman Julia Letlow, Alabama Senator Katie Britt, and former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. Additionally, Bautsch served as Executive Director of the Louisiana State Republican Party.
