Content warning: This episode contains discussions of sexual assault, trauma, and the reporting process. Please listen only if you’re in a place where you feel comfortable doing so.
This episode is the hardest one I’ve ever recorded.
I’m sharing my story of surviving sexual assault and what happened after I found the courage to report it. I talk about the investigation, the questions I was left with, the phone calls I made, and why I felt like my case wasn’t handled the way I expected. This is my personal experience and perspective on everything that happened.
If you’ve ever felt unheard, dismissed, or like your voice didn’t matter, I hope this reminds you that you’re not alone. This episode isn’t about revenge—it’s about telling the truth as I lived it, reclaiming my voice, and refusing to stay silent.
Thanks for hanging out with me on That’s Pretty Messed Up! If today’s episode made you think, feel something, or left you with more questions than answers, don’t forget to follow the podcast, leave a review, and share it with someone who’d love it too.
