  • He’s in the story 🌊
    Oct 7 2025

Sometimes faith shows up between football games, nights of insomnia, and kitchen dance parties. In this episode, I share how God’s hand weaves through both the laughter and the late nights — through the stories I’ve come to cherish in the scriptures, and through my own journey with physical and mental health challenges.

It’s about recognizing the patterns of His love — the way He meets us where we are, lifts us when we least expect it, and reminds us that even when we can’t see the miracle, we’re already walking in one.

If you’ve ever wondered whether God still shows up, this episode is your reminder: He’s in the story and He never left.

  • Fire, Fear, and the Mirror of Motherhood
    Jul 26 2024

Hey friends, it’s Jenny. This episode is about Valerie — the midwife who stood beside me through three births, a miscarriage, and the moment I had to learn what it really means to trust God, my body, and the people He sends to help us. Whether you're a fan of the hospital and epidurals or essential oils and waterbirths, this one's for your mam heart.

It’s the story of how she helped me through a labor that stalled not because of my body, but because of my heart — and the words she said that broke something open in me: “You’re doing exactly what you need to be doing.”

From that moment on, birth wasn’t just about bringing a baby into the world — it was about learning to believe that I was already a good mom, even when I felt like I was failing.

There’s also a house fire, a wild ambulance ride, a C-section that almost wasn’t, and a miracle baby named Casey who changed everything. But most of all, it’s about grace, surrender, and the kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to change your life.

If you’ve ever doubted whether you were enough — as a mom, a woman, or just a human trying her best — I think you’ll feel seen here. 💛

  • Seven Births, One C-Section, A Thousand Lessons
    Jul 25 2024

Hey friend—today’s a combo love letter to the midwives who walked me through birth, loss, and everything in between. I didn’t start as a “home birth person.” My first real nudge came from a friend who simply felt seen by a midwife—and I wanted that. Over eight babies (seven beautiful home births and one necessary hospital C-section), I learned how much compassionate care and informed choice matter.

You’ll meet Diane (my gentle first), Michelle & Kathy (strength and steadiness), Valerie (through the fire seasons), and Tierney—who stood with me through a miscarriage and helped me put roots down when life felt shaky. This episode isn’t anti-hospital; it’s pro-woman, pro-family, and deeply pro-respect. If you’re navigating birth options—or grief—you’re not alone. 💛

Content note: brief discussion of pregnancy loss (partial molar pregnancy).

  • Kauai, The Cat Lady, & Travel Scrabble
    Jul 24 2024

What a trip! Who knew the lady in the covid line at the San Francisco airport en route to Kauai would become a lifelong friend.

What started with worry that we wouldn't make our gate turned into an incredible tour one of the most magical places on Kauai and a life long friend that we still keep up with four years later.

A persistent prompting to have travel Scrabble delievered via Amazon to a friend in Utah that could deliver it to us at 1am in the morning at a Salt Lake City Airport.

And an offer to stay at a new friends home to avoid the meth at the beach we thought we were camping at...

    Buckle in...this one's fun!

    Love-

    Jenny

  • Insta Influencer, To Coach, To Friend - Thanks Shell!
    Jul 23 2024

"You need to take that course." Those words I heard in my head as a I sat nursing my 4 month old baby on our family room couch sent me on a path I never expected.

Enter Shell Toscano, TheRealCanvaGirl when I met her, now TheRealSocialGirl. She's a gem. I joined her on-line cohort over three years ago and what an adventure it became. From connections, to business, to late night conversations, I have been amazed at following a simple statement of inspiration has turned into.

Have you every followed a nudge that opened up paths you didn't know existed??

  • She Said, ‘That’s the Horse I Brought Back for Gwen'
    Jul 22 2024

Hey friend 💛 — today’s story is one I’ll never forget.
It started with a ten-year-old girl who just wanted horseback-riding lessons. What we didn’t know was that God had something much bigger in store — a horse named Renegade, a mentor named Terie Ellis, and a miracle that changed our whole family.

In this episode, I share how a brave little girl prayed, fasted, and believed — and how the right people showed up at exactly the right time. Terry opened her barn, her heart, and her world to us, and because of that, my daughter discovered courage, grit, and a lifelong love of horses.

It’s a story about unexpected blessings, answered prayers, and the way faith often rides in quietly — sometimes on four legs.

    Love you,
    Jenny 💛

  • How to Lead and Let Go - Thanks Berg
    Jul 21 2024

Happy Today! 💛 — this episode is about one of the women who completely changed the way I see leadership, faith, and showing up for others.

Her name is Robyn Bergstrom — a communications professor from my BYU-Idaho days and the powerhouse behind a life-changing summer program in Chicago. She’s the kind of woman who looks right into your soul, expects the best from you, and somehow still loves you through all your rough edges.

This is the story of how a 19-year-old version of me — late to my interview, a little wild-eyed, and hopelessly in love — got pulled into a summer that shaped who I became as a wife, mom, and woman of faith. It’s about learning you can’t fix everyone, that showing up matters more than being perfect, and that God often uses strong women to shape softer hearts.

If you’ve ever had a mentor who changed your life, or you’ve wondered how to balance compassion with calling, this one’s for you.

    Love you,
    — Jenny 💛
