  • Migrating Your Podcast to Hubhopper Made Easy
    Aug 5 2024

In this episode, we walk you through the seamless process of migrating your podcast to Hubhopper. We break down the process into three simple steps: podcast import, 301 redirect, and continued podcasting.

Step one is importing your podcast via RSS feed on the Hubhopper creation page. Select the option to migrate your podcast and submit your existing podcast RSS feed. Our system will automatically duplicate all your podcast data, which usually takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on the number of episodes. Once completed, we will generate a new RSS feed for you.

Step two is requesting a 301 redirect from your previous hosting platform. You can use the new Hubhopper RSS feed to request the redirect, which is typically found in the platform's settings. Alternatively, you can also contact support for assistance. This step ensures that changes made on Hubhopper reflect across previously distributed platforms while keeping your subscribers updated.

Finally, in step three, we encourage you to continue podcasting and expand your podcast distribution through our network. Migrating your podcast to Hubhopper is a simple process that opens up opportunities for reaching a wider audience.
