(Youtube/Zoom) Rabbi Ashira Konigsburg is the Chief Movement Strategy Officer for the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ) and the Rabbinical Assembly and the Chief Operating Officer for the Rabbinical Assembly. In this combined role, she leads the Conservative/Masorti Movement in re-envisioning the future of Jewish life and communities for the next generation. Rabbi Konigsburg graduated with a master’s in Talmud and Rabbinics and was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary. A native of South Florida, she spent her undergraduate years at the University of Maryland and has spent many summers in various roles at Ramah Darom in Georgia, including directing the climbing program. Ashira currently serves as a member of the board and steering team of Kehilat Hadar, an independent minyan. She also volunteers as a Disaster Spiritual Care Chapter Coordinator and Disaster Action Team Supervisor for the New York City region of the American Red Cross. She enjoys traveling, hiking, climbing, and reading in her remaining free time. (Youtube/Zoom)
