s a game safe just because it’s made for kids? Former CIA operative Nic McKinley joins Big Penn to discuss Roblox, online grooming, and the risks parents may overlook.

Nic returns to Swaggy Vets: Life After Boots for a direct conversation about protecting children online and disrupting human trafficking. A former U.S. Air Force Pararescueman and founder of DeliverFund, Nic explains how his team uses intelligence analysts, data, and technology to help law enforcement investigate trafficking networks.

In this episode, we discuss:

• Why Nic challenges parents’ assumptions about Roblox and social media safety.
• How predators can use attention, friendship, and gifts to manipulate young people.
• How DeliverFund turns digital information into leads for law enforcement.
• Why funding, staffing, and prosecution matter alongside technology.
• Nic’s “10 Points of Disruption” framework for targeting trafficking businesses.
• His account of DeliverFund’s work supporting attorneys representing an Epstein victim.
• The screen and internet rules Nic uses with his own children.

From military service to a new mission, this conversation explores how veterans can apply their experience to protecting communities—and why Nic believes parents need to take a more active role in their children’s online lives.

What is one rule you use at home to keep your children safer online? Share it in the comments.
