      Dukh Bhanjani Sahib is a prayer put together as they all address the same purpose. All the shabads in this paath are composed by the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev. The word 'dukh' means a hardship or ailment or suffering causing a pain. The word 'bhanjani' means destroyer or crusher; hence the phrase "dukh bhanjani" means "Destroyer of Pain". All the shabads in this composition are chosen at achieving this goal.This bani is named after the Shri Dukh Bhanjani Beri which is a tree (beri) located by the perimeter of the sacred pool at Amritsar.

      Chaupai Sahib is a hymn by Guru Gobind Singh. This hymn offers one protection and security and many Sikhs recite this Bani to gain spiritual safety and defense from external and internal enemies, worries, and afflictions. The Gurmukhi gives one self-confidence and an upbeat feeling. This Bani gives one the feeling of reliability and dependability on the Lord.

      Sukhmani Sahib is the Prayer of Peace and joy of mind, set of 192 padas. This Gurbani text was written by the 5th Guru, Guru Arjan (1563–1606) at Amritsar in around 1602.[3] Guru Arjan first recited the bani at Gurdwara Barth Sahib in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab, India. Reciting the entire Sukhmani Sahib takes about 60 to 90 minutes, and is sometimes undertaken by everyone in a smaller congregation with turn-by-turn reading. Reciting the Gurbani of Sukhmani Sahib is believed to bring peace to one's mind and aid help remembering God constantly.
