Welcome to this episode of Subject to Change, with us - Esther and Annalise! In our final episode of the season we turn to talking about the city we’ve spent most of our 20s in so far - London. But fear not, even if you don’t live here, there will be plenty of relevant material for you. Esther discusses the human need for community and connection and the difficulty of finding these in big cities, and Annalise shares that the best networking often happens in the women’s toilets.

TW: discussion of bereavement, death and depression (though we promise there are moments of lightness and joy in this episode too!)

Welcome to this episode of Subject to Change, with us - Esther and Annalise! In this episode, we unpack how grief changes us and the grief that comes with change. In doing so Esther shares that she sees grieving like an elastic band, Annalise teaches us about ‘regrieving’ and ‘growing around grief’ and we go on an off-track detour into the theological problem of evil.

This episode is full of thoughts and experiences that we’re still working out. As such- please hold everything we say lightly. We’re probably wrong about some stuff.

Welcome to this episode of Subject to Change, with us - Esther and Annalise! This time, we get really gushy about our friendships - how do we value our friendships in a culture that places romantic relationships at the top of the relational pyramid? And how do we deal with our friendships transforming as we - and our friends - experience our own Big Life Changes? Tune in as we chat about these questions, and Annalise's tummy makes some grumbly noises in the middle of Esther's poignant thoughts.
