When we have become people of heart, it's not about controlling our expression of emotions. It's about opening ourselves up to the possibilities that are available to us and realizing that we shouldn't be afraid to express our feelings. If we were able to get over this obstacle and let go of everything that has happened in our past then forgiveness wouldn't be as important. The process of aligning ourselves with our purpose begins with forgiveness whether it's forgiving others or forgiving ourselves.
