  • The Heartbeat of NYC
    Jan 13 2023

Despite the pandemic, “New York’s heart never really stopped beating and it never could”. Enjoy an insightful and optimistic take on NYC from Syd Prescott, a nurse and front-line worker. She gave out free beer when the city shut down during her last bartending shift and rode empty subway cars to and from hospitals and nursing homes. With all the trauma of the last few years under her belt, she maintains that “regular everyday New Yorkers are some of the most compassionate folks you’ll ever meet” and we tend to agree!

  • The Afro of Fire
    Jan 3 2023

Hang onto your hats (and wigs) friends. Episode three is packed with a psychedelic trip, activism, LOVE, art, an expanding red afro, Grace Jones, the UK, an arrest by the NYPD, and of course, potato leek soup. This uniquely bohemian story from Robin LaVerne Wilson (aka Dragonfly aka Miss Justice Jester) is not to be missed. However, this story contains adult language, sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll--and is not recommended for kids!
