Host Lee Sankey's guest for this two part conversation is the Circular Economy pioneer Sophie Thomas and founder of Thomas Matthews, a design agency focused on sustainability. Sophie is on a mission, and has been for over twenty years since her early experiments with circularity at the Royal College of Art in the mid 90's. In part one, Sophie talks about the influence of growing up with activist parents, how as a designer she came to be a certified waste manager, what makes a product circular and some of the enormous challenges with implementing the circular economy.
