ALisa Starkweather dedicated forty years as a visionary, skillfully facilitating paradigm shifts for humanity to heal trauma and to stand powerfully for life although purposefully most of her work remained an underground river in the sacred feminine rise. As a formidable guide of women’s empowerment her skills span the archetypal realms, Shadow Work, symbolic meaning, ceremonial rituals and somatic embodiment.
She is the founder of the global Women in Power; Initiating Ourselves to the Predator and Prey Within, her mystery school - Priestess Path, Daughters of the Earth Gatherings, Women’s Belly and Womb Conferences, the grassroots Red Tent Temple Movement and co-producer of the film, Things We Don’t Talk About; Women’s Stories from the Red Tent with Dr Isadora Leidenfrost. She is featured in many anthologies with her newest compendium in 2025, Gather; a celebration of women’s circles. Her recent work- Calling Us Home; Unearthing Our Indomitable Spirit focuses on the importance of her last vision- Building the Sisterhood Bridge and our imperative to work together to confront both patriarchy as well as white supremacy culture. Sayra Pinto, For a Loving Future director dedicated her book, Poetic Futurism, to ALisa and Calling Us Home, to assist all women to take on the deep work healing our fractures.
As a grandmother, ALisa is presently working with individuals with personal immersions, transformative retreats and being a mentor in the burgeoning, lively, multi-age community of Forest and Village in New England which focuses on the importance of rites of passages.
