À propos de ce contenu audio
In this third episode of No Me Callo / I Won’t Stay Quiet, Jessica Lomelin takes us into the heart of a reality that is rarely discussed: labor trafficking. Through real and detailed stories, Jessica shows how exploitation and control can be silent, subtle, and so normalized that they often go unnoticed.
Listeners will hear cases where people worked long hours without rest, with delayed or withheld pay, confiscated documents, and constant threats. Jessica explains how fear, isolation, and manipulation are tools traffickers use to keep someone trapped—even without visible locks or bars. This episode is not only meant to educate but also to open the audience’s eyes to warning signs that could be happening near them, in their community, or even in their own workplace.
⚠️ Content / Self-Care Warning: This episode addresses the topic of human trafficking, a sensitive and emotionally challenging subject. Listeners are encouraged to take care of themselves, listen at their own pace, and take breaks if needed. If the content becomes overwhelming, it’s okay to pause and return when you feel ready.
