Our story takes place in the world of Vexlaria. A little over a century ago, a surge of magical energy exploded from the southern most continent named Navarius. This explosion surged through the entire land and ripped open the veils to countless other planes. This allowed for unimaginable energies, entities, and creatures to enter our world. And thus, the War of the Veils began. Battles raged, civilizations fell, kingdoms were destroyed, and chaos reigned. With the help of several powerful magic users, the veils were eventually able to be closed, though remained fragile. With the veils closed, brave adventurers from across the lands came together to fight the remaining enemies. Some were destroyed, some retreated to unknown places. Finally, a new era of peace began in Vexlaria. Kingdoms began to rebuild, civilizations were born anew, and the people felt safe once more. However, there are still enemies lurking in the shadows, and though the veils were closed they remain fragile and weak. Without the help of more brave adventurers, the tenuous peace of Vexlaria could crumble once again. A group of strangers are asked to take up the call. The fate of the world lies in the hands, but they will learn quickly that all secrets have consequences.
