In this episode I will talk about the Babyolian gods and how they are so similar to the stories in the bible. But the real interesting conversation is the origins of Yahweh. You think Jehovah is and always was the one true god, well, you are misinformed. Yahweh is one of many gods and I will go over how he rose to power and how the Isrealites created their own religion using the bits and pieces from the Cannanite’s gods and goddesses.

Let me give you a warning. If you love your god, and things are fine in your life the way they are, stop listening to this. I don’t want to be the reason you start to have complications. Honestly, If you don’t say no to god after this episode, you have truly set your mind on believing in god. You are your own person and you can choose to believe whatever you want to believe. But damn it, this information in this episode can take you down a rabbit hole that can be devastating to your faith. It makes me so mad and sad that religion is so engraved in our culture. It’s embarrassing how we still believe in all of this. It's so primitive. Gods, myths, religion, sin, heaven, apocalyptic endings, it all has to stop.

Well, at least it did with me. This is saying no to god.

Lets talk about how history made me finally say no to God and Jesus.

Its a lot to take it but somehow this and much more history made sense in my head to finally leave Christianity.

We are always trying to better ourselves. In order to become the person we aspire to be we set goals for ourselves. Religion provides the tools to update ourselves, to shape ourselves, to create something meaningful out of ourselves.

But is god just a tool? or is god real? Do we even need god if we can learn to better ourselves on our own? Is god obsolete?

Saying no to God can mean many things. Saying no to god doesn’t necessarily mean you become an atheist. Saying no to God can mean you are learning to put your own boundaries. You are learning to put your emotional, physical and mental health first. Your end result depends where you draw the line on your beliefs. The story I’m about to share with you is not about how I became an atheist, but about a moment I was being asked to do something for God that I was not comfortable with. There are 4 reasons why I no longer believe in God. I started reading more on these 4 subjects: science, History, Mythology, and philosophy. I will dedicate one episode per subject in order to try and share the things that I learned from them.

Así como existe la positividad toxica, también existe el exceso de empatía, una empatía toxica. Y como por muchos años te trataron de convertir en un Jesús andando, y lo lograron por el contagio emocional, hoy te encuentras desgastado, pobre, desganado, y confundido. Estas sufriendo el síndrome de trauma religioso. Por años trataste de ser alguien quien no eres. Y te hicieron sentir mal por no ser como los demás. Pues hoy te ayudare entender que no tiene nada de malo que no tengas la misma cantidad de empatía como los demás. Es mas la empatía nos puede llevar por un mal camino, es peligrosa y afecta a muchos por pensar que estas ayudando en algo cuando en realidad no. Veamos algunas verdades que son difícil de escuchar pero necesarias.

Esto es dile no a dios.

Ciencia te dice que eres, religión te dice quién eres.

Pero creo que ya podemos usar otros métodos para aprender quienes somos. Si algún día mis hijos andan por lo que conocemos como desinencia cognitiva y alguien les predica de Jesús, y resultan encontrando un alivio en la religión, este sería el episodio que espero que logren a escuchar.

Mi hija me preguntó, "Dad, is god real". Y le respondí , “No baby, god is pretend".

Yo le entre con todos los kilos en ser el mejor cristiano que posible, eso me llevo hacer muchas cosas muy vergonzosas. Me hizo pensar de maneras muy feas e injustas. Me hico actuar y decir cosas terribles y hoy quiero compartir lo malo que la religión me hico ser.

Filosofía, ética, y moral, todo se me complica porque se me cruza. Este será el primer episodio donde trato de organizar mis pensamientos basado en los siguientes libros, La mente de los justos por Jonathan Haidt y el gran Friedrich Nietzshe con su libro beyond good and evil.

La moral cristiana es muy toxica y limitante. No es buena para nuestros hijos.
