Give Me Patience, God – Trusting While You Wait

“I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry.” – Psalm 40:1

In today’s heartfelt and relatable episode, Reverend Ben Cooper brings a quiet yet powerful reflection from Psalm 40—a passage that speaks directly into the moments when waiting feels endless, prayers feel unanswered, and hope seems delayed.

    "Give Me Patience, God."
It’s more than a plea—it’s a cry of the human heart that so many believers can relate to. Whether you're waiting for breakthrough, healing, restoration, direction, or simply for peace, this message is for you.

In this simple but deeply moving teaching, Ben opens up the tension many Christians face: believing in God's faithfulness while sitting in seasons of silence. The psalmist writes, “He turned to me and heard my cry,” reminding us that God is never deaf to our prayers. But often, our impatience makes us question His presence.

    In this episode, you’ll hear:

    • Why waiting on God can feel painful, but is always purposeful
    • How to posture your heart in seasons of delay
    • What Psalm 40 reveals about God's timing and tenderness
    • Why Jesus remains faithful, even when we grow weary

Sometimes the waiting room becomes the training ground, preparing our character, deepening our faith, and helping us let go of control. Waiting is not wasted when we’re waiting on the Lord. Through the Scripture and the voice of the Holy Spirit, this message will comfort those feeling overlooked or unheard.

Ben reminds us that Jesus Christ is our deliverer, and even if we don’t see immediate results, His Word will carry us through the storm. He is working behind the scenes. And when the answer finally comes—it will be better, deeper, and more beautiful than we imagined.

If you're whispering, “How long, Lord?” this episode will reassure your heart that He has not forgotten you.

Israel, Prophecy, and the Feast of Trumpets – A Conversation with Reverend Brian Greenaway

We thank you so much for joining us on this powerful and timely episode with Reverend Brian Greenaway of Maoz Ministries. In this thought-provoking conversation, we bring Scripture and current events together, exploring Israel's spiritual landscape, political realities, and the prophetic weight of these times.

From the tensions along Israel’s borders to the growing unease within her cities, this episode takes a closer look at the realities on the ground and how they align with biblical prophecy. As Reverend Greenaway brings his unique insight and passion for Israel, we journey through both ancient Scripture and modern headlines, weaving together God’s eternal promises with the pressing issues facing the Jewish people today.

One of the highlights of this episode is a deep exploration of the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah)—a sacred appointed time that prophetically points to the return of Jesus Christ.

The Feast of Trumpets is more than a historical celebration. It is a prophetic alarm clock for the church. Marked by the blowing of the shofar (ram’s horn), this feast speaks of awakening, repentance, and preparation. It is a divine rehearsal for the second coming of the Messiah, where the trumpet will sound, and the Lord will return for His people (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

💬 Topics covered in this episode:

    • The rising tension in Israel and what it means for believers
    • The global shift in political alliances surrounding the Middle East
    • Why the church must pay attention to biblical feast days
    • The spiritual and prophetic depth of the Feast of Trumpets
    • How this appointed time calls us to wake up, repent, and prepare
    • The connection between ancient Jewish traditions and the end-times calendar

Reverend Greenaway speaks directly to the urgency of the hour. As the shofar sounds and prophecy unfolds, we are reminded that the King is returning. This message is not one of fear, but of hope, alignment, and spiritual preparation.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." – Psalm 147:3

This powerful episode of Christian Straight Talk sees Reverend Ben Cooper and Simon Pinchbeck tackle one of the most vulnerable topics many believers face but few speak about openly: emotional and spiritual scars from the past.

Do past traumas still influence your present choices?
Are there unspoken wounds that continue to hurt in silence?
Do you need healing and freedom from what you’ve buried for years?

In “Scars from the Past,” Ben and Simon take an honest, raw look at how unhealed emotional wounds—from betrayal, abuse, failure, rejection, or regret—can become toxic if left unresolved. When pain is suppressed instead of surrendered to Christ, it begins to fester into bitterness, anger, shame, and spiritual paralysis.

But the Good News is clear: Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 is not just poetic—it’s a spiritual promise. Christ doesn’t just acknowledge your pain; He meets you in it, binds your wounds, and leads you to a place of freedom, forgiveness, and peace.

Ben and Simon explore questions like:

    • What are the dangers of spiritual suppression?
    • How do we identify scars we've buried or ignored?
    • What does real healing look like according to Scripture?
    • How can we allow God into those painful spaces we’ve sealed off?

This is not just another emotional talk—it’s a biblically grounded, Spirit-led conversation aimed at helping you move from survival to healing, from wounding to wholeness.

Whether you’re battling old memories, struggling with identity due to your past, or carrying guilt you’ve never spoken about, this episode will speak directly to your heart. Healing is available. Freedom is possible. But it begins with honesty—and a willingness to bring your scars before the wounded Healer.

Midnight Prayer & Communion | More Than Conquerors (Romans 8:37 & Psalm 86:6–13)

We are so blessed and honoured that you’ve joined us for this sacred Midnight Hour Prayer and Holy Communion moment. Whether you're listening in real-time or catching up later, we believe that God has led you here for a divine encounter. In this spiritually nourishing episode, we gather in unity to pray for the online church, believers around the world, and for those still seeking the truth of the gospel.

Our focus scripture is Romans 8:37:

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."

This powerful reminder from the Apostle Paul anchors us in the victorious identity we have in Jesus Christ. Despite the battles we face—spiritual, emotional, or physical—we are more than conquerors because of His enduring love.

We also reflect on the Psalm of David in Psalm 86:6–13, where David cries out to the Lord in a time of need. His words show a deep trust in God's mercy and faithfulness:

"Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me." (Psalm 86:6–7)

These verses are a heartfelt model for how we can approach God with humility and confidence, especially in the midnight hour when burdens feel heaviest and hope can seem distant.

Tonight, as we break bread and share in Holy Communion, we remember Christ’s ultimate sacrifice—the foundation of our salvation, our healing, and our peace. This sacred act isn’t just a ritual; it's a declaration that Jesus is Lord, and through Him, we are restored and made whole.

Join us in prayer as we:

    • Intercede for the global Body of Christ
    • Lift up those who are weary, anxious, or in need of breakthrough
    • Thank God for His unfailing love and redemptive power

We also take a moment to stand in the gap for the online church community, that it may continue to be a light in the digital space, drawing many to the knowledge and love of Christ.

Be encouraged—God sees you, hears you, and is with you.

Take a moment after the episode to meditate on Romans 8:37 and Psalm 86:6–13. Let them settle in your heart and renew your faith.

Christian Straight Talk: Identity – Who Am I in Christ?

In this bold and unscripted episode of Christian Straight Talk, Reverend Ben Cooper and Simon Pinchbeck return to the mics for a powerful discussion that cuts straight to the heart of the matter: Identity – Who Am I in Christ?

This is more than just a conversation—it's a no-holds-barred exploration of biblical truth about who you really are as a follower of Jesus. In a culture saturated with confusion, labels, and identity crises, this episode brings clarity through the lens of God’s Word.

Ben and Simon don’t shy away from asking hard questions:

    • Have you ever wondered who you truly are in the eyes of God?
    • Are you living under labels the world gave you, or standing in the truth of your spiritual identity?
    • What does the Bible say about your position, purpose, and worth in Christ?

In a world that tells us to define ourselves by success, failure, trauma, sexuality, gender, or performance, this episode reminds us that our true identity is found only in Jesus. You are not your past, not your sin, not your career, and not your achievements. You are a child of God, redeemed, called, anointed, and chosen.

The discussion dives into the spiritual battle over identity, exploring how Satan uses confusion, shame, and worldly systems to distort what God has spoken. But the truth of Scripture breaks through the noise:

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here!" – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Whether you're a new believer, a seasoned Christian, or struggling to reconcile your faith with your self-worth, this message will encourage, challenge, and refocus you on the foundational truth: Who you are in Christ defines everything else.

Join the Christian Straight Talk conversation—raw, real, and rooted in the Bible. This isn’t religion. This is Kingdom truth, spoken straight out of the barrel of bold faith.

Let It Go – Let God Take the Steering Wheel

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28 (ESV)

What a conversation over the mic today as Reverend Ben Cooper and Simon Pinchbeck dive deep into a Spirit-led discussion that is both timely and transformational. This episode, titled “Let It Go – Let God Take the Steering Wheel,” is a heartfelt invitation to release the burdens we were never meant to carry and surrender to the One who knows the road ahead.

We all hold on to things that weigh us down—control, pride, anxiety, expectations, regret, past hurts, and the relentless need to fix everything ourselves. But Jesus offers a better way: “Come to Me... and I will give you rest.” In Matthew 11:28–30, He doesn't promise a life free of responsibility, but He offers His yoke—a shared burden, guided by His strength and wisdom.

💬 In this open and raw episode, Ben and Simon explore:

    • Why so many believers still live burdened lives
    • How worldly attributes—like self-reliance, busyness, and fear—can hinder spiritual growth
    • What true surrender to the Holy Spirit looks like in everyday life
    • How to discern when you're trying to control what God wants you to release

This isn't just a feel-good message—it’s a wake-up call. The steering wheel of your life belongs in the hands of Christ. And if you're exhausted, anxious, or spiritually dry, it may be because you've been trying to drive down a road that only God was meant to navigate.

This episode will stir your heart, challenge your habits, and realign your walk with Christ. It’s time to let go of what holds you back and trust the One who holds your future. The Holy Spirit is speaking, calling believers to a deeper place of dependence, obedience, and rest.

Whether you're a new believer, a mature Christian, or somewhere in between, this message has something for everyone. Let go of the weight, and let God take control.
