Everyone who knew Joshua Maddux admired his free spirit and individuality. It wasn’t out of character for the 18-year-old to venture into the woods alone to explore and connect with nature. When he left for a walk in May of 2008, his family didn’t think much of it. But worry quickly set in when he failed to return home after nearly a week. Though there are several theories as to what happened to Joshua Maddux, countless questions remain unanswered.
