Nehemiah 9 gives a beautiful overview of the torah and God's steadfast love amidst the infidelity of the Israelites. Nehemiah confesses the sin of his people which led to them now be in captivity. Jason walks us through how following Jesus means that we will be transformed through a healthy pattern of confession and community.

Advent series part 4! Joseph is visited by the angel and told to go to Egypt because Herod is preparing to kill all of the children in the area. Dustin dives into this passage and invites us to examine the Kingdom that we live for.

The miraculous story of the conception of Jesus invites us to have faith in the word of God-- that the prophesies would be fulfilled and how our God would become an infant.

Josh begins our Advent 2024 by opening Matthew 1:1-17. The genealogy of Jesus is a very messy and honest account of how God has used unexpected people to bring his kingdom to Earth.

In this passage, the people of God deeply impacted by the reading of the law. Jason walks us through how the word of God, with the holy spirit, brings change and transformation. This passage ends with the Israelites celebrating the feast of booths, a tradition around reorienting their hearts around the promises of God.

Jason takes us through Nehemiah 8:1-10. Ezra opens the torah before an assembly of the people returning to Jerusalem. The books of Ezra and Nehemiah are beautifully interwoven- as two men assembling the people of God. Jason examines who God is gathering and our proper response to this "divine activity."

Pat leads us through Nehemiah 7. Nehemiah gives his brother charge over the gate of Jerusalem. Pat walks us through God's faithfulness through the names recorded of the people who returned to Jerusalem.
