  • It Starts With a Burden
    Mar 1 2026

Today, we began a new teaching series in Nehemiah 1. When God moves in the world, especially to restore his people, he doesn’t begin with blueprints, he begins with burden. Nehemiah hears that Jerusalem is in “great trouble and shame,” and instead of rushing into strategy he weeps and prays. He shows us that a holy burden should lead to reverence, repentance, and requests before action. In what ways has God burdened you? Begin with prayer before you ever move to action. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!

  • Faith That Endures
    Feb 22 2026

Today we finished our "Learn to Listen" series by studying Hebrews 6:4-12. Pastor Michael taught us that the author of Hebrews is saying "true faith endures to the end." And endurance looks like bearing fruit, which includes loving and serving others, as well as looking forward to the promised Life we will receive in eternity. Endurance grows in community, so let's lean in together and endure to the end. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening.

  • From Listening to Living
    Feb 15 2026

Today, we studied Hebrews 5:1–6:3 to learn that real listening always leads to real living. The author warns that spiritual dullness doesn’t come from ignorance, but from hearing truth without responding to it. He reminds us that Jesus, our perfect High Priest, obeyed fully in our place so we could be forgiven and changed. Because of the gospel, obedience isn’t a way to earn God’s love, but a response to it, as the Holy Spirit carries us forward into maturity one step at a time. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!

  • Disobedience Is Exhausting
    Feb 8 2026

Today, we studied Hebrews 4:1–16 to learn how disobedience rooted in unbelief leads to deep, soul-level exhaustion. We saw that God’s promise of rest is still available “today,” but it is entered through faith-filled listening rather than striving or self-reliance, and that God’s living Word exposes what we’re carrying that He never asked us to bear. Ultimately, this text points us to the rest that only Jesus can give: the rest that comes from trusting Him instead of trying harder. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!

  • Listening Is Believing
    Feb 1 2026

Today, we studied Hebrews 3:7–19 to learn why listening to God is never passive and why disobedience is ultimately a problem of unbelief. We saw how Israel’s failure in the wilderness warns us about hardened hearts, how unbelief slowly forms through delay and justification, and why exhortation and community are God’s gifts to keep us trusting Him. Most importantly, we were reminded that Jesus obeyed where Israel failed, and that His obedience covers our disobedience, giving us hope and grace today. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!

  • What About Angels? [Snow Day]
    Jan 25 2026

Today, it snowed, so we gathered virtually for a special message. We studied Hebrews 2:5–10 to learn why angels, though real and powerful, are servants in God’s plan. Jesus is better and has secured an eternal inheritance for His people. This message explores what the Bible actually teaches about angels, the future God has planned for humanity, and how Jesus’ death and resurrection give us hope as we live between the “already” and the “not yet.” We hope it encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!

  • The Danger of Drifting
    Jan 18 2026

Today, we studied Hebrews 2:1–4 to learn why drifting in our faith is so dangerous. We saw that drift usually doesn't happen through outright rebellion; it happens through slowly stopping our response to what God has already said. We explored how neglect leads to drift, why familiarity with the gospel can dull our attentiveness to Jesus, and how real spiritual growth happens by staying anchored to Him through intentional, consistent practices. We were reminded that Jesus doesn't abandon drifting people, but moves toward us by becoming human to rescue us, and hold us fast as our Anchor. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!

  • Learn to Listen
    Jan 11 2026

Today, we began a new teaching series by studying Hebrews 1. God has spoken clearly and finally through Jesus, so listening to Him matters more than any other voice. This message explores how God once spoke in many ways, but now speaks fully through His Son, and how our tendency toward selective hearing can cause us to reject God completely. We were challenged to recognize the voices that compete for our attention and to respond by listening to Jesus with trust, obedience, and faith. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!
