Being a sinner and being anointed cannot coexist. To genuinely be anointed, an individual must dedicate themselves to Christ by receiving the Holy Ghost and turn away from a sinful lifestyle. God clearly indicates that Christians who refer to sinners as anointed are misleading themselves and are not in harmony with His will. He says they are liars and does not tarry in His sight.
