    Radio Transatlantic Calling -

    1. Beyond Individual Survival | Post-Covid Collapse & The Fire Horse

    🔎 Episode Synopsis

In this first episode, Ray Edgar (France) and CatharineAllan (Canada) launch Radio Transatlantic Calling as a third space for anyone feeling caught between survival and collapse.

This podcast began the way many meaningful things do, by chance. Two strangers introduced themselves over coffee. A simple exchange turned into a long conversation about the state of the world, what feels fragile, tense, or, is quietly breaking beneath the surface of culture.

    That meeting sparked something.

With storytelling, reflection and sense-making, we start from the aftermath of the pandemic. What remains unresolved? The sense that something fundamental has changed.

Reflecting on the human psychological, cultural, andrelational impact of Covid, we explore what changed, and what still hasn’t healed. From polarization to burnout and the erosion of community spaces.

Drawing on astrology as an archetypal lens, including the Yearof the Fire Horse and major planetary shifts, Catharine offers a framework for understanding 2026 as a moment of rebirth, risk, and creative action.

Sharing lived human experiences we begin to explore:

    1. The cultural and human impact of Covid.
    2. What if we are not meant to "get back to normal"?
    3. What if 2026 marks not and ending, but a turning?
    4. The symbolism of the Year of the Fire Horse.
    5. Where does real agency begin and how do we move beyon survival and collapse?

This is not about having the answers.

It is about naming the moment………..and beginning the change.

Note: This first episode is intentionally reflective and wide-ranging. It sets the context for the journey ahead.

Future episodes will bring guests, grounded stories, andpractical examples of how local action and embodied presence can change more than most of us currently imagine.
