Today we are looking at how God can use anywhere to connect with us…even Walmart. I have to admit that most of the time I think about listening to God's voice, it usually holds the idea of what danger am I putting myself in by not listening. However, I was reminded that while heeding God's voice can certainly keep us safe, it can also be a way for Him to bless us or bring something good into our lives…or even help us find something we have been looking for.

So, how do you recognize God's voice? Do you question or reason it away or do you listen and obey? What steps are you taking to get more acquainted with His voice so that you hear it more clearly and can obey more quickly? Today we are looking at connection through the lens of dreams. Not necessarily the dreams you have while sleeping, but the dreams that live deep inside you. The ones that never go away regardless of how much time passes. Sometimes they are tiny voices calling to you from a far away place and other times they are the loudest voice of silence resonating throughout your whole body.

What dreams have you had on pause? Which ones call you to you in the silence? Dreams that stick with you are worth pursuing, so keep them as your target and do whatever you can to make them your reality no matter how long it takes. Life is full of uncertainty and tomorrow is not promised. I encourage you to go after the dreams you have; choose to make them a priority because there is only one you and the world needs what you have to offer.

The world is changing, the way people communicate is changing and in some ways communication and friendship have become a bit transactional. Time seems to be going by faster and faster and we have more and more things that fill the time we do have.

So today, I encourage you to reconnect to deep friendships that may have lost their spark or seek to cultivate new ones with the goal of truly connecting with another person beyond the surface. And while you're at it, ask God who He made you to be. He might just choose to speak to you in an elevator.
