  • Reverend Denise Walden-Glenn | Spiritual Conviction, Grace, and Softening into Feminine Power
    Mar 3 2026

In this episode of Powerful Women: Off the Record, Reverend Denise and I discuss embodied wisdom, spiritual conviction and the strength it takes to soften.

From the time she was five years old, Reverend Denise knew something in her world was “off”. She wrestled with questions far beyond her years about fairness, protection and purpose long before most children could even name those ideas.

She shares a defining childhood moment when she first realized she could “command” change. And how that spark of courage shaped her leadership, faith and feminine power. This episode explores intuition, shedding protective armor, and learning when “enough is enough.”

She talks about the grief of releasing identities that once protected her, and what it looks like to consciously lay down that armor and embrace a softer, more feminine strength.

This conversation is about spiritual listening and trusting that if the shift is rising is your body, it’s already time. Reverend Denise is the Executive Servant Leader and CEO of Urban Christian Ministries (UCM), a non-profit dedicated to strengthening the community by fostering spiritual growth, leadership skills and civic responsibility of our youth.

Through a blend of love, education and hands-on learning, they empower young leaders to break the cycle of violence and make a profound, positive impact on their communities.

  • Nancy Tucker | Self-Advocacy, Boundaries, and Knowing When to Walk Away
    Feb 24 2026

In this episode of Powerful Women: Off the Record, Nancy Tucker and I discuss the challenges of navigating executive leadership while raising children, blending families, and quietly pushing through mounting physical symptoms.

Like many high-achieving women, she normalized exhaustion and her body’s warning system. Nancy shares how fainting episodes became the wake-up call she couldn’t ignore, and how that moment reshaped the way she approached work, boundaries, and caregiving.

She speaks candidly about leaving a role that demanded too much from one person, advocating for healthier structures, and mentoring other women to recognize burnout before it becomes a crisis.

This episode is about listening to your body before it has to shout, honoring your capacity and redefining success to include rest, presence, and sustainability.

Sometimes leaving the wrong role can be an act of leadership. If you lead a team, a company, or a family – this episode will resonate.

Nancy Tucker is the founder and CEO of Thelma & Louise Consulting LLC, a Human Resource consulting firm based in Florida and New York. She specializes in HRIS system conversions, payroll, process improvement and employee development.

With 18 years at the same firm, she offers a rare perspective on loyalty, flexibility, and the power of workplace cultures that support working mothers.

  • Tanya J. Carney | Growth, Self-Trust, and Subtle Discipline
    Feb 10 2026

In this episode, I sit down with Tanya J. Carney for an honest conversation about growth, self-trust, and the subtle discipline required to stay aligned as a leader.

Tanya reflects on the moment she knew she had outgrown her life and made the leap to Austin - stretching herself financially, emotionally, and professionally in order to keep evolving.

We talk about recognizing the signs of misalignment before burnout takes over, why comfort can be more dangerous than fear, and how curiosity, learning, and routine can act as anchors during periods of change.

Tanya shares the everyday practices that keep her steady: movement without perfectionism, eating with intention, respecting seasonal rhythms, and protecting her emotional boundaries as a leader.

This episode is a reminder that resilience doesn’t come from grinding harder - it comes from knowing who you are, staying curious, and giving yourself permission to grow beyond the shell you’ve outgrown.

This episode highlights stretching yourself, staying curious, and emotional boundaries.
