It’s 2023 and we’re ready to hit the ground running! Welcome back to PopDiskette and welcome… to Season 2!
This week:
We’ve gotten some info recently about the new story in Nickelodeon’s Avatar series! In 2025, we’ll hopefully be seeing the Avatar after Korra at work in an all new series. After the run Korra had as Avatar, we’re looking forward to what’s to come.
There’s also a certain live-action film that’s recently been picked up by Netflix and we have some info on that as well. I’ll give you a hint: it’s from the director of the John Wick movies.
In current events this week, a beloved franchise and a staple of pop culture media has fans up in arms. The late Jason David Frank did not participate in the 30th anniversary episode of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and fans are wondering why. We take a look at the situation to find out reasons this decision may have been made.
…and, this week’s roundtable discussion is about the traditions some families follow going into the New Year. What are some New Year’s traditions you and your family take part in?
