Well, it's probably time to address the elephant in the room…

It's been since August 2021 that I've released a podcast Episode and yes, there's a very good reason.

And that's what today's show is. A bit of a comeback really, but mostly just an explanation of what happened and how I've dealt with it. And that's not to be somber or negative. I'm genuinely happy to be back, and I want to thank everyone who has emailed and messaged me over the last six months or so, asking what's up, and offering genuine words of encouragement to come back. And we'll cover most of those in the talk.

And I say 'we' because I asked my friend Rob Mark to come on and act as my sounding board as I talk through everything. He's a good listener and I thank him for doing this one with me.

It feels good to be back!

These last few months have really been something for me. I think the best way to describe it is as a total reset. All of the hard lessons learned over the last year and a half, plus all of the great stuff too, all put back together in a new package, and with that, the show's finally back. And with a bang because Chad's here, and I've got a great reading from one of my favorite magazines that sums up "Enthusiasm" better than I ever could.

So, while I was "away" I actually got a lot of feedback and emails and even a few new patrons too. And we're going to get right to that. But first, the elephant in the room. No, I'm not at Oshkosh. I actually did plan to go, even managed to get the week off, but this summer, for whatever reason, I felt the need to be home and getting things back on track more than ever. And I'm glad I did, because a lot actually transpired over this last week of July I was glad to be home for.
