The party ventures into a massive crystal cave, where they encounter Lua, a strange, childlike being who grows the crystals from her own body. She opens a portal for them, leading to a whimsical and dangerous new world. There, they discover a tree caught in a time loop, a curiosity that proves fatal for Dr. Braxter when he is decapitated by the temporal magic. Carrying their friend's body, the party reaches a pink-sanded coast and enters the underwater city of Solace, only to find it in ruins and stalked by a monstrous entity. They are rescued by a mysterious survivor who reveals himself to be Fen's long-lost brother, Keith. Using his own time-altering device, Keith revives Dr. Braxter and directs the party toward a settlement of berserkers where their sister might be. The party arrives to find the settlement is a fortress run by children and are brought before their queen as the session ends.
