Making that shift is very different than going from full-time to travel, and it can feel very challenging. A lot of travelers struggle with this decision: Do you trade freedom for stability? Take a big pay cut? Walk away from the flexibility and cash flow you love so much? There’s so much to consider.

We talk honestly about what it feels like to be ready for more stability, but not quite ready to give up your freedom or income — and whether you actually have to choose between the two.

We also share creative ways to use travel intentionally to set yourself up for long-term success, so when you are ready to make that shift, you’re doing it on your own terms. Plus, we chat about what we would do differently if Travsessed didn’t exist.

In this episode, we do a quick Thanksgiving recap — how we stayed up until 3am, ended up hungover on Thanksgiving, but also how it was the best day to be hungover.

We chat about potential plans for Kim's 40th birthday (and how we still can’t make a decision), plus the fact that we don’t have any big trips until June. That’s the longest we’ve been in one place in forever — but once June hits, we’re off to the races with Travsessed trips planned almost every month.

We’re also officially moving into our new townhouse this weekend! We signed a year lease, which feels like a big freakin’ deal for us, and we’re so excited. We’re getting all of our stuff out of storage in Florida, and there were a few hiccups and a big change of plans with that whole situation- which we get into.

It’s a total mix of Thanksgiving chaos, life updates, trip talk, and us bouncing all over the place… per usual.
