  • Celebrating Caribbean Culture with Grace Cameron of JamaicanEats
    Jan 16 2026

Food has always been more than just what’s on the plate — it’s memory, culture, and connection. In this episode of Nutmeg Nation, I sit down with Grace Cameron, journalist and founder of JamaicanEats Magazine, to talk about storytelling through food and the importance of preserving Caribbean culture in meaningful ways.

Grace shares her journey as a media professional, what inspired her to create JamaicanEats, and how the magazine has grown into a trusted space that celebrates Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine, history, and lifestyle. We talk about legacy, representation, and why telling our own stories — especially as Caribbean people — truly matters.

This conversation is a reminder that food connects us to home, wherever we are in the world.

While Nutmeg Nation is not currently producing new episodes, this conversation remains part of the archive. At this time, I’m focusing my creative energy on my active podcast, 🎧 Diva Tonight, where I explore relationships, personal growth, and navigating life in your 40s with honesty and intention.

If you enjoyed this episode, I invite you to listen to Diva Tonight, available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major platforms.

Spicemas isn’t just Carnival — it’s culture, history, music, and community all coming together. In this episode of Nutmeg Nation Spicemas, I sit down with Kerron to talk about what makes Grenada’s Carnival (Spicemas) so special, from the energy in the streets to the traditions that keep the culture alive year after year.
