À propos de ce contenu audio

HotDadRadio Welcome to HotDadRadio — a scrappy, ever-experimental creative collective responsible for a handful of strange, funny, and occasionally buried podcast projects. Under the our banner, you’ll find: HotDadRadio – A collective of artists (whatever that means). In practice? It’s a chaotic, comedy-first podcast hosted by Josh, Derek, and Ryan. The show thrives on absurd tangents, unfiltered conversations, nostalgia bombs, and riffs on pop culture deep cuts. Episodes frequently include random sketch readings, offbeat improvisation, and recurring in-jokes, with occasional guests and live tapings. Think: “hangout comedy meets experimental chaos.” Noodlin’ with Josh – An interview talk show with three sacred rules: Drink when interrupted. Utilize the very specific safe word. Share this show (or else). It was built to make friends across any distance, one chaotic episode at a time. CBJW – A variety show hosted by Caitlin Burt and Josh Weaver, born during the pandemic out of loneliness and, let’s be honest, horniness. CBJW leans into unlimited creative possibilities, absurdity, and anything-goes experimentation. Plus, a few other retired or “buried” projects that still live in the THP archives for the truly curious. All rights reserved

  • HDR: the Gang Went To Portland, Part 2
    Mar 5 2026
Post-Portland Premier of My Dog: the Paradox the gang gets together to recap a wild weekend of celebrating our buddy, Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, a full name/title that we're required to paste in full every time we talk about him. Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, got to present his animated short film in front of a sold-out crowd at the Newmark Theatre with Imaginary planet. Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, sat down with Allie Brosh, the New York Times bestselling author and creator of Hyperbole and a Half. We weren't required to write that title. We wanted to, Allie is the best. Anyways, back to Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, well he, Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal that is worked on this incredible short with Imaginary Planet. It was a blast. Truly. We love Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal. We also went to Sassy's and hung out with our buddy, Pete! Shoot us a DM at @HotDadRadio with any questions/concerns.

  • HDR: the Gang (minus Ryan) Goes to Portland, Part 1.
    Feb 19 2026
On this episode of HotDadRadio - is that a corny way to start a podcast description? I never know. I've written what is at this point hundreds of these and not ONCE have I heard feedback from a listener about "hey, I read the podcast description and man, I'm so glad I did, it changed everything. I was going to ignore this piece of performance art disguised as three emotionally stable men talking about their place in the world and society within, but then I read "on this episode of HotDadRadio the guys....I dunno, talk about the harvard prison experiment" and just had to tune in. NEVER HAS THAT HAPPENED. And I don't even know who SEO is...why am I writing for a musician I don't even listen to? Any way - Portland, the Oatmeal, vacation prep, and a cliff-hanger...in that order? Enjoy the abrupt ending! @HotDadRadio on IG

  • HotDadRadio - The 2026 Box Office Draft w/ Special Guest
    Feb 1 2026
Three hosts. Seven picks each. Two cinematic curses per enemy. 🎬🔥 The 2026 HotDadRadio Box Office Draft puts Derek, Josh, and special guest Lizzie Spellman in a high-stakes movie prophecy cage match. They draft the films they think will dominate theaters all through 2026… then gleefully saddle each other with a couple guaranteed bombs. When the year ends, the box office decides who’s a visionary and who should never be allowed near a trailer again. Bragging rights included. Popcorn recommended. 🍿📈
