This postcode lottery leaves disabled people and families facing uncertainty, distress, and avoidable pain. Nina explores why carers must be recognised as essential, not optional, in every hospital, not just a select few.

The conversation highlights the physical, emotional, and systemic consequences of excluding carers, and why a nationwide approach is the only fair and effective solution. This episode makes the case for consistency, dignity, and change, because care should never depend on chance.
