Good evening. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz. That snow you're seeing out the window? It's just getting started. We've already picked up about half an inch. And a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect statewide until 4 A.M. Wednesday. We're looking at 2 to 5 inches of fresh powder before this system wraps up overnight. In the next 24 hours. The steadiest snow falls between 8 and 9 P.M. Tonight. Southern New Hampshire sees a twist after 11 P.M. — sleet and freezing rain mix in. Fortunately, road treatments should keep ice accumulation minimal. Down in the Monadnock Region, precipitation wraps up around 1 A.M. Head north toward the White Mountains. And you're dealing with snow until about 2 A.M. Lows tonight bottom out around 23 to 25 degrees. But don't get too comfortable in the cold. Wednesday dawns sunny with highs soaring to 48 to 50 degrees — roughly 21 degrees above normal for early March. That snow won't stick around long. Wednesday night stays clear with lows near 22 degrees. But Thursday night into Friday. Another round of wintry mix is possible. Freezing rain looks like the main threat Friday morning, especially in those southern valleys. The weekend brings a genuine warm-up. Saturday and Sunday both reach the mid-50s. By Monday and Tuesday, we're talking upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Rain chances return Saturday, but Sunday and Monday look dry. One more thing — tonight's full moon will be playing hide-and-seek behind those snow clouds. Sunrise is at 6:20 A.M. and we're gaining nearly three minutes of daylight each day. Spring equinox is just 17 days away. Charge those phones before you sleep. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Take care That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
