This week’s episode Negative ROI. The Rhino Onward International (ROI) scandal involves a $46 million renewable energy swindle centered around false promises in the green hydrogen industry. Launched in 2022, ROI, led by Paul Croft and J.D. Frost, claimed it would build a green hydrogen plant worth $530 million. They attracted $31 million from over 200 investors, many of whom were their accounting and tax advisory clients, believing in the legitimacy of their venture.
Hence the title Negative ROI and one could say Frost froze those investors assets.
