The concept of naming in Nigeria is vital because, for most people, it does more than just differentiate one person from another. It is believed to also tell a story about a person, the family they come from and sometimes even their destiny in life.
For some others, a name is just a name.
On this episode, my guest and I would be looking at the concept of naming and why/why not people often give their children (or themselves) names that are not native to them.
