À propos de ce contenu audio

Welcome to My Therapist Says I Talk Too Much, a podcast for those who are rebuilding, rediscovering, and talking their way through the messy middle of life.

I’m Jen — mom of two kids and two dogs, CEO of my own life. After leaving other people’s chaos behind and starting over, I realized something: sometimes the best adventures don’t have a map.

This podcast is where we talk through it — the reinvention, the heartbreak, the healing, the WTF moments, the growth, the friendships, the big life shifts, and everything in between.

A little mapless, a little mindful, and a whole lot of honest conversation.

Expect:

• Real talk about all life’s things

• Conversations with people navigating big transitions

• Stories of resilience, motherhood, divorce, healing, and rebuilding

• Cozy, thoughtful episodes you’ll feel in your chest

• Humor, softness, clarity, and zero perfection

• A place where you’ll feel less alone

If you’re in your reinventing era, your coming-home-to-yourself era, or your “my therapist would love this” era — this space is for you.

Let’s reinvent, reinvest, and roam… together.

    • The Messy Middle: Change, Courage, and Rebuilding From Scratch
      Jan 12 2026

      I almost didn’t press record.

In this first episode, I’m starting before I feel ready - nerves, imperfections, and all. This podcast was created because I reached a point in my life where everything looked “right” on paper, yet I felt completely disconnected from myself.

I followed the playbook. School, career, marriage, motherhood, success. And still, somewhere along the way, I lost my sense of who I was. Leaving a life that no longer fit - and rebuilding from the ground up - forced me to slow down, reflect, and finally listen to my own voice again.

In this episode, I share why this podcast exists, what led me here, and why I believe the messy middle deserves more honest conversation. We talk about identity, divorce, midlife shifts, motherhood, fear, courage, and the quiet power of choosing yourself - even when it’s uncomfortable.

There’s no perfection here. No polished performance. Just real life, real conversations, and the decision to begin anyway.

If you’re rebuilding, questioning, or trying to find your way back to yourself - you’re not alone. This space is for you.

    • Remembering Yourself: What We’re Not Talking About as Women
      Jan 10 2026

This episode is a real-time reminder that growth is allowed to feel scary and wonderful at the same time.

I’m sitting down with Narges, an acupuncturist and one of my favourite humans - someone who speaks with so much honesty about identity shifts, emotional truth, and what it looks like to remember yourself through new experiences. We talk about how easy it is to tie your worth to what you do, why connection feels harder in this season of life, and how vulnerability is often the missing piece in deeper friendships between women.

We also go there. Narges opens up about being diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at 22, the grief and identity loss that came with it, and how that experience ultimately reshaped her purpose and path. From moving across the country and starting over, to navigating worthiness, aging, body changes, and the pressure to “do it all,” this conversation is raw, grounding, and deeply relatable.

If you’ve been feeling lost, in-between, or like you’re rebuilding without a map - you’re not alone. This is the messy middle, and we’re walking it together.
