  • S1.EP 47: Write the Vision and Make It Plain — But With God
    Dec 26 2025

    Podcast Summary – Episode 47

My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears
Write the Vision and Make it Plain-But With God.

Welcome back family, Thank you again for tuning into another episode.

This is actually the last episode of the year 2025, and it is coming out on December 26th. And if you didn’t catch that yet—today is also the birthday of this podcast.

Write the Vision and Make It Plain — But With God

In this special one-year anniversary episode, Tamela Ingram reflects on the journey of My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears podcast and closes out 2025 with a timely and powerful reminder: writing the vision only works when God is at the center of it.

Drawing from Habakkuk 2:2, Proverbs 29:18, Proverbs 16:3,Psalm 37:4 and James 1:5, Tamela challenges listeners to pause before creating new goals, vision boards, or plans for 2026—and instead seek God first. While writing the vision is biblical, true success comes when our plans are aligned with God’s will, not just our own desires.

Through personal testimony, including the obedience behind launching the podcast despite fear and hesitation, Tamela encourages listeners to trust God’s timing, follow His instructions, and faithfully steward the ideas He has already given. She reminds us that some visions are not just for us—but for others—and that God deserves all the glory.

This episode invites you to sit with God, listen for His direction, and write the vision His way as you prepare for a new year. It closes with gratitude, encouragement, a spiritual challenge, and a hopeful invitation to enter 2026 with faith, obedience, and intentional alignment with God.

Key Takeaway:Write the vision. Make it plain. But do it with God.

Happy New Year, family. Stay safe. I love you all.

    And don’t forget— Hats are 50% off with code 2026. December 26, 2025 - January 15,2026.

  • Episode 46: Focus on God — Not the Problem
    Dec 15 2025

    Podcast Summary – Episode 46

My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears
Focus on God — Not the Problem

Welcome back family, Thank you again for tuning into another episode.
In this powerful episode, Tamela Ingram encourages listeners to shift their focus from fear-filled problems to faith in God. Drawing from Isaiah 26:3, she reminds us that perfect peace comes when our minds are stayed on Him. When we focus on God instead of our circumstances, anxiety gives way to peace, trust, and gratitude.

Tamela reflects on the biblical story of the widow woman in 2 Kings 4:1–7, highlighting how her obedience to God’s instructions led to freedom from debt and an overflow blessing. Despite fear, uncertainty, and lack, the widow chose faith over fear—and her obedience changed everything.

This episode challenges listeners to examine their thoughts, emotions, and attitudes during difficult seasons. Are we trusting God, or trying to solve problems on our own? Through scripture, encouragement, and practical application, listeners are reminded that God doesn’t need our help—He needs our obedience.

As a weekly challenge, Tamela encourages listeners to seek God’s presence, listen for His instructions, meditate on His Word, and worship through every trial. When we focus on God and not the problem, we position ourselves to receive His peace, provision, and promises.

    This weeks Scriptures:
    Isaiah 26:3 ESV
    James 1:2, 4–5 NKJV
    2 Kings 4:1–7 ESV
    Philippians 4:6 NKJV
    1 Peter 5:7

    WEEKLY CHALLENGE & ENCOURAGEMENT

This week, I challenge you to do something intentional.

Ask the Lord to help you focus on Him and not the problem.

Sit down. Write down what God is instructing you to do. Meditate on His Word. Worship—even when you don’t feel like it.

Remember the widow woman. She trusted God in fear, uncertainty, and lack. Her obedience saved her sons, paid her debt, and produced overflow.

God can do the same for you.

  • EP45. The Mountain Is You: Get Out of God’s Way.
    Dec 8 2025

EP45 Summary — The Mountain Is You: Get Out of God’s Way

Hey family, Welcome back to another episode.

In this episode of My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears, we explore a powerful truth: sometimes the biggest obstacle in our lives isn’t the enemy, our circumstances, or other people—it’s us. I share my personal journey of realizing that I was the “mountain” standing in the way of God’s plans for me. Although I believed I trusted God, I was still holding onto control, especially in areas shaped by past trauma like finances, relationships, and generational patterns.

We talk about how partial trust is still disobedience, how self-sabotage shows up in our spiritual lives, and why God will allow repeated tests until we fully surrender. Jesus tells us to “speak to the mountain,” but when the mountain is our pride, fear, impatience, or need for control, it requires us to move out of God’s way so He can move powerfully in our lives.

Inspired by insights from The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest, we dive into the reality that no one holds us back more than ourselves. This episode challenges listeners to reflect, repent, and release the habits that keep them stuck.

Tune in as we break down what it means to trust God completely, stop trying to do His job, and allow Him to shape us in His timing. Because when we let God be God, every mountain—external or internal—must bow.

Scripture: He said to them, " Because of your little faith. For truly I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20 ESV

    Key challenges this week:

    1. Study what Jesus says about mountains.
    2. Read The Mountain Is You.
    3. Identify your own patterns of self-sabotage.

Join me as we learn to step aside, surrender, and let God lead.Because our faith is bigger than our fears.

  • EP 43: We Were Never Meant to Do This Alone-Two Are Better Than One
    Nov 24 2025

Episode 43 Summary — “We Were Never Meant to Do This Alone: Two Are Better Than One”

In this episode of My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears, we dive into the truth that God never designed us to walk through life alone. Using Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 as our foundation, we explore the strength, warmth, and protection found in God-centered community. Through the analogy of the threefold cord, we unpack how relationships strengthen us, how support uplifts us, and why isolation leaves us vulnerable to the enemy’s lies.

We reflect on Jesus’ own example of living in fellowship with the Father and His disciples, and we challenge ourselves to examine whether we’re truly connected or trying to navigate life in isolation. As we approach Thanksgiving, this episode encourages gratitude for the people God has placed in our lives and invites us to seek healing from past hurts that have kept us from meaningful connection.

This episode is a heartfelt reminder that community is God’s idea, God’s design, and God’s gift — and a threefold cord is not easily broken.

Thank you for joining me today on Episode 43 of My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears. Remember this: you were never created to walk alone. Let God lead you to the right community — and let Him teach you how to remain connected.

If this episode blessed you, share it with a friend who might need this reminder too. I’ll see you next time, and until then… walk in faith, walk in love, and walk in community. See you next Monday. Remember we encourage, we motivate, we put our faith and trust in God, and we conquer our fears one episode at a time.

  • EP 42. No One Said This Would Be Easy-Adulting Adult Children While God Fills the Void.
    Nov 3 2025

Hey friends, welcome back to My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears. I’m so glad you’re here.

Today’s episode is called “No One Said This Would Be Easy.” And if you’re walking through that season of learning how to “adult your adult children,” you know exactly what that means. It’s that bittersweet space between loving deeply and letting go — between guiding and stepping back — between being needed and being still while God steps in.

Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”But what that verse doesn’t say is how it feels when they’re “old” — when you have to trust that what you’ve planted will grow in God’s timing.

No one said this would be easy — but with God, we don’t have to face it alone.

Episode Title: No One Said This Would Be Easy — Adulting Adult Children While God Fills the Void

Parenting doesn’t stop when your children become adults — it simply changes. In this heartfelt episode, we explore the bittersweet journey of learning to love, guide, and let go as our grown children step into their own lives and faith journeys.

With honesty and encouragement, we talk about what it feels like when the house grows quiet, the phone rings less, and we’re left wondering, “What now, Lord?” Through it all, we discover that while this season isn’t easy, it’s sacred — because God steps into the spaces our children once filled.

Scriptures like Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 54:13, and Philippians 4:6–7 remind us that our role now is to pray, trust, and release. Letting go isn’t giving up — it’s giving over — allowing God to do what only He can in our children’s lives.

And as we surrender them, God fills our hearts with new peace, purpose, and presence. Just as Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing!” — this season can be one of renewal, not loss.

Whether you’re missing your grown kids, praying through their struggles, or rediscovering yourself in this new chapter, this episode will remind you that your story — and theirs — is still in God’s hands.

Because no one said this would be easy… but with God, your faith is always bigger than your fears.

    Scriptures reference: Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 54:13,Isaiah 43:19, Isaiah 54:13, Galations 6:9, Psalm 73:26, Psalm 46:10 and Philippians 4:6–7,

Summary Episode 41: “Navigating Through Heaviness — While Trusting in God”

In this heartfelt episode of My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears, the host opens up about what it means to walk through a heavy season while still holding on to faith. Life can feel weighty — even for those who trust deeply in God — but heaviness doesn’t mean faith is gone; it simply reminds us of our daily need for Him.

The episode begins with a personal reflection on a week filled with emotional weight and unexpected challenges, including a reminder to pray and care for others even in moments of personal struggle. Through prayer and worship, the host rediscovers that God is present in the midst of heaviness — listening, comforting, and lifting the burden little by little.

Drawing strength from Scripture, she shares verses like 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18, and Hebrews 4:16, reminding listeners that God invites us to bring our pain honestly before Him. Jesus Himself knew what it meant to feel heavy — yet His surrender became His strength.

Listeners are encouraged to navigate their own heaviness by:

    1. Acknowledging their feelings,
    2. Praying honestly,
    3. Worshiping through the pain,
    4. Serving others, and
    5. Surrendering daily to God’s peace.

Scripture reference: 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18, and Hebrews 4:16

This week’s challenge is to take a few quiet moments with God — write down or pray through what feels too heavy — and surrender it, trusting that He will meet you there.

The episode closes with a comforting reminder: even when your heart feels heavy, God is still holding you. His presence is constant, His love unshakable, and His peace available — right in the middle of your heaviness.

Tune in, be encouraged, and remember — your faith will always be bigger than your fears.
