    Chanting, particularly this chant, is an immensely powerful peace action one can take individually or in community. Namu Myoho Renge Kyo has a translation of: "Devotion (or Glory) to the Mystic Law (or Dharma) of the Lotus Sutra" and can be further described as a choice to surrender reason in gratitude for the infinite unknowable mystery bringing an ebb and flow of learning experiences in life.
