This week’s Moment of Truth: Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

    All things.

    Do you actually believe that?
    In the pressure?
    In the setback?
In the loss you didn’t see coming?

Romans 8:28 is not a slogan for easy days. It is a battle-tested promise. But who is it for? Those who love God. Those who are called according to His purpose. That raises a question—are you living according to His purpose, or your own plan?

When circumstances hit hard, do you trust that God is at work—or do you default to frustration, control, and self-reliance? Are you interpreting your situation through culture, emotion, and fear… or through Scripture?

This week on "Moment of Truth," host, Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret), brings Romans 8:28 into clear focus. No clichés. No sentimental faith. Just the reality that God is sovereign, even when life is not easy.

Are you aligned with His purpose?
Are you willing to see difficulty as training, not defeat?
Are you living in a way that proves you trust Him?

Five minutes. One verse. A direct challenge to the way you think about adversity.

  • Have a Plan
    Feb 4 2026

This week’s Moment of Truth comes from 2 Timothy 2:15:
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

When temptation shows up, do you know how you intend to respond?
When you’re provoked, do you pause—or react?
Have you identified the situations that consistently trip you up?

In this week’s “Moment of Truth,” Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) challenges Christian men to be intentional—to prepare themselves ahead of time. Not perfection—intentionality.

Having a plan matters. Scripture-based responses matter. Christians are called to take responsibility for how they live, speak, and respond—because our aim is to honor God, and lives are affected by our choices.

This week’s “Moment of Truth” challenges you to prepare before pressure hits. Take a few minutes and listen now.

  • When God’s Way Isn’t Yours

This week’s Moment of Truth: Isaiah 55:9

God says His ways are higher.
That settles the question—but not the tension.

    Isaiah 55:9 doesn’t invite debate.
    It demands alignment.

    So, ask yourself plainly:
    • Where are you insisting on your way instead of God’s?
    • Where has obedience been replaced with justification?
    • Where has conviction stopped short of action?

This “Moment of Truth” isn’t about understanding God’s ways.
    It’s about submitting to them.

Because real faith shows up when God’s direction disrupts your preferences, challenges your pride, and requires disciplined love toward others.

If God’s way isn’t yours—whose way are you following?

Listen to this week’s “Moment of Truth,” drawn from the full-length radio show "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," and examine how your faith is actually being lived out.

  • Not Finished

Paul makes something clear in Philippians 3:12–14:
He had not arrived. He was still pursuing.

That matters—because spiritual maturity does not mean you stop pressing forward. It means you stay intentional. It means you recognize that following Christ is not something you complete, but something you continue.

So, what does that look like in your life right now?
Where have you grown comfortable instead of focused?
Are you actively moving forward—or relying on what you already know?

Paul refused to live looking backward. He fixed his attention on what God had placed before him and committed himself fully to the call of Christ.

This week’s "Moment of Truth" is a reminder Christian men need to hear: if you’re still breathing, God is still shaping you—and your walk still requires purpose, discipline, and obedience.

    You are not finished.

  • Guard What is Sacred

    Not everything deserves your attention.
    Not everyone deserves your trust.
And not every conversation deserves what is holy.

Jesus didn’t tell us to be careless with Truth—He warned us to guard it.
So here’s the question: Are you paying attention to where you give your time, words, and influence?
Do you recognize when the Truth is being rejected—not debated, but trampled?

In this week’s “Moment of Truth,” Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) confronts a hard reality from Matthew 7:6.

What does it look like to live out your faith with judgment, restraint, and responsibility—without compromise?
And are you protecting what God has called sacred in your life?

This is not about backing down.
It’s about knowing when to speak—and when to stand firm without casting pearls where they will be destroyed (Matthew 7:6).

Listen to this week’s “Moment of Truth” and measure your wisdom against Scripture.

  • Do the Work

A new year gives you a fresh start—but what will you do with it?

King David told Solomon exactly what most men don’t want to hear: “Be strong and courageous and do the work” (1 Chronicles 28:20, NIV). What work have you been putting off? What responsibility have you been hoping someone else will carry? What’s right in front of you that you already know God is calling you to handle?

Do you have a plan—or just good intentions? Are you using what God has already placed in your hands? And when resistance hits, will you quit…or will you keep going knowing God will not fail you or forsake you?

This week’s "Moment of Truth" is short, direct, and Scriptural—and it will challenge you to stop drifting and start executing.

  • If You Believe in Jesus, Then…
    Dec 24 2025

Belief isn’t vague. And it isn’t neutral.

John 3:16–17 tells us why Jesus came—to save the world. But if you say you believe in Him, what follows from that belief? What must change? What can no longer stay the same?

Do your beliefs come from Scripture—or from what’s convenient, familiar, or comfortable? If you believe in Jesus, are you willing to let His Word challenge your opinions? Are you prepared for a faith that shapes your choices, your character, and how you live in the real world?

This week’s "Moment of Truth" asks a direct question every Christian man must answer honestly:
If you believe in Jesus…then what?

  • What Do You Believe?
    Dec 17 2025

    Send us a text

Christmas brings a simple question into view: What do you believe and does your faith show up in how you live? Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Christmas forces us to look at that. Do you trust what God says, or do you settle into the season without thinking about what it all means?

Not what you learned as a kid.
Not what the world turns Christmas into.
What do you believe about why Christ came?

In this week’s "Moment of Truth," Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) talks plainly about the gap between what we say we believe and what our lives actually reveal. Christmas gives you a clear moment to take stock. Does your faith guide you, or is it something you only think about when the season reminds you?

If you want to sort out what you believe and why, listen this week.
