  • 76. Dating Yourself: The Ultimate Self Worth Reset with Michelle Chalfant
    Mar 4 2026

In this special crossover episode of Modern Latina in Midlife, I'm sharing a conversation where I was the guest, interviewed by my friend, mentor, and client Michelle Chalfant on her show. What started as a casual team-meeting moment turned into a powerful discussion about something I tried while I was burnt out on dating: "Mantourage Dating." But here's the twist… this isn't just about dating apps or finding "the one." It's about self-worth. Boundaries. Attachment patterns. And the energetic shift that happens when you stop dating from lack and start choosing yourself...first. I break down how I turned dating into a self-love practice (yes, really), why it helped me detach from outcomes, and how that same mindset can deepen any relationship, whether you're single, partnered, married, or in the middle of redefining what love looks like in midlife.

    Highlights
    • Why "Mantourage Dating" isn't about playing games, it's about dating from self-worth

    • The mindset shift that changed everything: making dating about me, not them

    • How I created a "fun-first" dating strategy (outfits, restaurants, experiences, joy)

    • The surprising way this approach reduces anxious attachment and fantasy spirals

    • Why your energy and standards can change who you attract (even on apps)

    • The real lesson: becoming the person you want to attract before they arrive

    • How this applies to long-term relationships and marriages (yes, still date your partner)

    • My 3 personal "rules" if you want to try this approach

    • The abundance reframe that removes desperation: there's more where that came from

  • 75. Your Skills are Your Cushion: Navigating Career Shifts and Single
    Feb 23 2026

In this episode, I'm doing something a little different. I was recently a guest on my friend Laura Dionicio's show, The Pivot Point Podcast, and the conversation moved me in a way I didn't expect. Laura asked the kind of deep, searching questions that forced me to look back at my own 18-year corporate career, my journey through single motherhood, and the terrifying moments where I had to rebuild my life from scratch in just two weeks. Listening back actually made me cry—not out of sadness, but because it reflected back the "badassery" it took to get here. I'm sharing that interview with you today because I want you to see that the "nudges" you're feeling aren't random; they are breadcrumbs leading you to your next chapter.

    Episode Highlights

    • The 18-Year Exit: I open up about the exact moment I realized my corporate "success" was actually making me sick.
    • The Power of a Sabbatical: How I navigated the guilt and fear of leaning on a partner to finally learn how to receive.
    • Rebuilding in Real-Time: The practical steps I took to turn a part-time VA gig into a full-time income in only 14 days when my circumstances suddenly changed.
    • Redefining Your "Cushion": Why I stopped looking at my bank account as my only safety net and started trusting my skills and education instead.
    • Decoding Resistance: How to tell the difference between "I'm scared because this is new" and "I'm resisting this because it's not for me."
    • Business by Design: How my coach helped me use Human Design to stop overworking and start aligning my business with my energy as a Manifesting Generator.

  • 73. The Ghost in the Mirror: Grieving the Body You Used to Have
    Feb 9 2026

A couple of years ago, I caught my reflection while fixing my eyeliner, and for the first time in decades, I didn't recognize the woman looking back. I saw a softness in my jawline and a tiredness in my eyes that no "hack" or serum could fix. I didn't reach for a solution, I just sat on the edge of the tub and felt incredibly sad.

We spend billions of dollars on anti-aging, HRT, and optimization, but we almost never talk about the quiet, heavy heartbreak of losing the version of ourselves we've lived with for decades. In this deeply personal "storytime" episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on my own journey, from a "mirror shock" moment at the driving range this past weekend to the realization that I am in a state of ambiguous loss. This episode isn't about how to "fix" your body or your mindset. It is simply an invitation to no longer silence the quiet grief. It's a conversation about acknowledging the ghost of our first act so we can finally show up for the wisdom and power of our second.

    In This Episode, I Share:

    • The Moment the Mirror Changed: The story of the fitted golf dress that stopped me in my tracks and the "rogue" body changes that I couldn't unsee.
    • The Paradox of Invisibility: My journey from being a hyper-visible 12-year-old dealing with unwanted attention to the complicated relief—and the toll—of becoming "invisible" in my 50s.
    • Ambiguous Loss: Why grieving a changing body is so heavy when there is no clear ending and no "body to bury."
    • The "Old Reliability" Betrayal: What happens when the diet and the grit we've used for decades stop working, and we're left wishing for our younger bodies back.
    • A Rite of Passage: Why I'm planning a ceremony to thank the body that ran the marathons and birthed my children—not to "fix" the sadness, but to finally honor it.
    • The Essential Self: Michelangelo's metaphor for aging—what is being revealed once the extraneous is carved away?

  • 72. Stop the Hustle: Why "Doing Less" is Your New Success Strategy
    Feb 3 2026

Are you wearing your "busy-ness" like a badge of honor?

I've been there, running on caffeine and fumes, trying to squeeze a smoothie into a two-minute gap between meetings, and feeling like if there's a white space on my calendar, I must fill it.

But here's the truth I had to learn the hard way: we are not built to be in a perpetual harvest. Just like the earth, we need seasons to rest and recalibrate.

In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on why the traditional 24-hour "hustle" culture is actually designed for masculine energy, and why we, as modern Latinas, need to reclaim our 28-day cycle (or the lunar cycle!) to truly thrive.

I'm sharing how I used these exact energetic blueprints to plan a business retreat that generated a potential of three-quarters of a million dollars in just three days. Yes, really!

Whether you are in your reproductive years or navigating the wisdom of menopause, your body has a roadmap for productivity that doesn't involve burnout.

Grab a cafecito, and let's talk about how to let your body lead the way.

The Magic You'll Discover in This Episode:

    • The 24-Hour vs. 28-Day Myth: Why the world is set up for a masculine cycle and why trying to fit into it is keeping you exhausted.
    • The Four Phases of Creation: A breakdown of the Follicular, Ovulatory, Luteal, and Menstrual phases, and how to align your business tasks with each one.
    • The Moon as Your Guide: How to harness lunar energy if you're in menopause, pregnant, or not currently cycling.
    • CEO Energy & Astrocartography: How I combined moon phases with location strategy to create a $750k plan in 72 hours.
    • Practical Tracking: Simple ways to start "layering" your schedule so you're brainstorming when you're creative and resting when you're smart.

Ready to start syncing your life and business with the moon? I've put together a guide breaking down each phase and its unique energy, plus my 2026 Moon Phase Google Calendar so you can see exactly when to push and when to pause.

  • 71. What the Ocean Taught Me About Fear: Unfiltered Notes from Belize
    Jan 26 2026

What if the thing you're avoiding is exactly where your next breakthrough is hiding?

In this special "on-location" episode, I'm taking you with me to the docks of San Pedro, Belize. This wasn't originally intended to be a podcast episode; it started as a raw voice note to myself. But as I sat by the water—watching a stingray break the surface and processing a powerful day of snorkeling the world's second-largest barrier reef—I realized the lessons I was uncovering were too important not to share.

I'm a beach lover, but I've always been afraid of the ocean. In this episode, I share how I moved through that fear using the concept of "Expanders" and why taking inventory of our risks allows us to take the kind of inspired action that changes everything.

In this episode, we dive into:

    • The Power of Expanders: How to use your own past wins and the expertise of others (like my "badass" diving guide) to expand what you believe is possible.
    • Fear vs. Intuition: How to tell the difference between "reckless" action and "guided" action.
    • Respecting the Flow: The "Law of Nature" and how showing respect to our environment (and our business) ensures we are respected in return.
    • The Beauty on the Other Side: Why the most breathtaking experiences in life and business are often reserved for those willing to get into the water.

Listen closely toward the end. The ocean literally chimes in to punctuate the lesson.

  • 69. Why I Don't Set Goals in January (The Science Behind Wintering)
    Jan 12 2026

In this episode of Modern Latina in Midlife, I'm sharing why I don't jump into "New Year energy" in January and why slowing down during this season has been one of the most supportive practices for my body, mind, and nervous system.

For years, I noticed a clear pattern: after the holidays, my energy drops and my system naturally wants rest, reflection, and simplicity. I used to think this was just personal or tied to my March birthday. Recently, I've learned this rhythm aligns with a concept called wintering, popularized by Wintering.

    In this episode, we cover:

    • What "wintering" means and why it's a natural human cycle
    • Why January is often the hardest time to force change
    • The biological and nervous system reasons winter feels slower
    • Why most New Year's resolutions don't stick
    • How winter supports rest, reflection, and maintenance
    • Why I plan my year in late February instead of January
    • Practical ways to winter well without falling behind

If you've been feeling tired, unmotivated, or out of sync with New Year expectations, this episode will help you understand why and offer a more realistic way forward.

As always, thank you for being here. If this episode resonated, I'd love for you to share it with a friend or leave a review, it helps more women find these conversations.

NEW YEAR OFFER: I'm opening 3 spots to work with me through the entire year of 2026 for just $5,000. A deal I may never run again!
