With over 325 registered players, the league brings together locals, University of Memphis students, and hockey lovers from up North who are now calling the Mid-South home. With professional hockey officially returning to the Memphis area in October 2026 as part of the Federal Prospects Hockey League, the growth of leagues like this is happening at the perfect time. A new team based out of the Landers Center will bring pro hockey back to the region after nearly a decade, showing that the demand for hockey in the South is stronger than ever.
